Reflection
Journal Prompts
What decorations or features did you add to make your mask unique? What do these features represent?
How did you problem-solve to make your mask fit? Was it comfortable to wear? How could you improve wearability?
Did you face any unexpected challenges while creating your Facebox Mask? How did you overcome these?
It’s important to reach out for help when you need it. Name someone you can go to for support in times of a challenge?
Facilitation Tips
Guiding the Design Process
Guide students through the design process. Research, sketch, plan, iterate, reiterate as needed, share!
Set up a materials station and give students a maker budget. Make budget planning part of the process!
Make time for reflection. Build in time for students to journal and talk about their process, because the process is where the learning happens, and reflection allows students time to synthesise their learning.
Extensions
Take It Further
