Smooth Swing Hatch: Spin-Hinge Challenge

Students will:

• Become familiar with the Makedo Spin-Hinge, cutting and connecting a smooth swinging hatch that opens and closes.

• Learn to work with the Spin-Hinge as a way to add movement to cardboard creations.

Students can:

• Create a smooth swinging hatch that opens and closes on a cardboard structure by attaching it with the Spin-Hinge.

• Manipulate cardboard and create movement with the Spin-Hinge by attaching a moving part to a stable base.
