A foundational cardboard engineering joint
Use this reinforcement at corners and joints to add strength and stability where two pieces meet at a right angle.
How does this hack help?
The L brace distributes the stress across a wider area and prevents the corner or connection from collapsing or flexing under weight or pressure.
Cut and mark

Step 1
Cut a rectangle to be used as an L Brace and use the Fold-Roller to mark your fold line in the middle of the rectangle.
Use an edge

Step 2
Fold cardboard over an edge for more precision and control.
Keep it strong: Make the fold perpendicular to the flutes for stronger brackets.
Connect

Step 3
Connect with Scrus to the outside or inside of a corner to add stability.
Master Moves
Need a helping hand?
Use a clip or clamp to hold cardboard in place while you connect with a Scru.

Adding Structural Support: Inside or Outside
The L Brace can be connected to either the inside or the outside of your structure.
