What's in your hand?
If you've ever struggled to hold all your cards during a card game, this Makedo project is just for you!
Preparation
What you'll need
Scru-Driver
Safe-Saw
5x Scru (for each player)
Upcycled cardboard
Cut the card shapes

Three pieces per player
We'll run through the instructions for making one card holder. Repeat for each player!
The first step is to cut out three semicircles of cardboard, according to the following sizes:
Large: 28cm / 11in
Medium: 25cm / 10in
Small: 13.5cm / 5.3in
Tip: You can use plates or pot lids from the kitchen to help trace out the circular shapes.
Punch the holes

Punch, align, punch again
Start with your large semi-circle and punch 4x holes along the straight edge. The holes should be about 2cm / 1in from the straight edge, with the following spacing:
Outer holes: 3.5cm / 1.4in from curved edge
Inner holes: 7cm / 2.8in from curved edge
Next, punch a hole approximately 3.5cm / 1.4in from the middle (at the top) of the curved edge.
Once you have punched the holes in your large piece, align the 3x semi-circles along the straight edges. Flip this stack over and punch through the holes so that each semi-circle is ready to be connected.
Layer and connect

Not too tight!
Position the pieces on top of each other and connect with a Scru at each location.
Be sure not to over-tighten, you want to leave enough space between the pieces of cardboard for your playing cards to slide in easily.

Ready to play!

Repeat for each player
And that's it!
Repeat the process to make a card holder for each player, and then dive in to your favourite card game. With this holder you have two rows and plenty of space to store and sort a full hand of cards. Soon you'll be wondering how you ever managed without your Makedo cardboard card holder.
