3D printed micro:bit mounts
In this crown we can see maker tech combined with cardboard for a truly regal outcome.
The micro:bit controller and battery are held in place by custom 3D printed components, attached using Makedo Scrus. Adapting 3D printed designs is a great way to integrate electronics into your cardboard creations. There are many examples in maker communities of brackets and holders for different DIY tech options, and with a few design tweaks they can be easily modified to accommodate the Makedo Scru connectors.
These crowning DIY micro:bit brackets come to us from Eric Bredder, an enthusiastic and talented educator at UVA.
