Tumbling, bouncing fun!
The arcade game Plinko can be very entertaining, watching those counters bounce their way along as they tumble down the slope.
This cardboard game was a real team effort, with the boys taking charge of the main Plinko board as they poked the grid of holes and then connected all the 'obstacle' Scrus. While the board was underway, their mother worked on a design for the case that would hold the board in place. The final touches included segments for the tokens to tumble into, and stickers identifying points for different landing zones.
This game doesn’t only make awesome sounds when the coins bounce down the board, it also looks pretty cool!
In a surprise twist, the brothers had so much fun playing against each other that they started to tally up their scores for some a light-hearted and fun competition. So the activity that started off as a simple DIY game soon became a competitive learning process that had daily use for quite a while in the household!
