Cardboard Crusaders

Head out to meet a friendly dragon, protect the townsfolk and amaze onlookers with your daring feats of bravery.

All this and more will be possible as fairy tales come to life with a cardboard armour costume.

Adding Colour

Decorate your armour with markers, or use paper cutouts in contrasting colors like Cheryl did (see below) in the Knight of the Blue Dove costume. There's something about the way that blue details stand out against the neutral tones of the cardboard, isn't there?

Keeping it Simple

Sometimes getting the shapes right is all you need to have a neat wearable creation. Knight costumes can also be quick and simple to make, as we can see in the examples below with a Defender of the Kitchen from Lori (left) and an anonymous uploader (right) showing bravery before bedtime.
